SLS Auto appear in Superbowl ad Mercedes debuts four new cars in Superbowl advert, including C-Class Coupé and SLS Roadster
Four new models touchdown for Mercedes! The German architect debuted a bulk of new models in a £62,000-a-second advert during the 2011 Superbowl amid the Green Bay Packers and Pittsburgh Steelers.
Among the newcomers were two new cars not yet clearly unveiled, including the SLS AMG Auto and C-Class Coupé. Also apparent was the CLS 63 AMG and new SLK.Â
Taking the gullwing SLS supercar as a base, the new SLS Auto is adapted with a affronted 6.2-litre V8 and twin-clutch gearbox but ditches the acclaimed  doors in favour of added acceptable units.
Instead of application a abundant and circuitous folding metal adjustment for the roof, as apparent on the SL, Mercedes has adopted to fit a revised adaptation of the canvas top which acclimated on the antecedent SLR roadster.
The C-Class Coupé appearance the aforementioned front-end administration as the facelifted C-Class range, including LED daytime active lights and a curvier bumper. From the foreground wings back, it’s all new with the two-door layout, aerial roof and channelled shoulderline all abacus a little added ability to the C-Class’s profile.
