Edmunds Inside Line letters that Mazda could accompany aback the rotary-powered RX-7 sports auto as aboriginal as 2011 or 2012. The aboriginal RX-7 was awash in the U.S. from 1979 through 1985 and came with a compact, failing rotary engine.
According to Edmunds, the new RX-7’s rotary engine was accepted “to be able of up to 350 application and 215 pound-feet of torque against the RX8′s paltry 232 hp and 159 lb-ft.” However, Edmunds adds that “sources abutting to Mazda now advance that the aggregation will yield a simpler access and actualize a car whose appearance evokes the aboriginal RX-7…Horsepower is accepted to be in the 200-250 ambit and the pricetag will be about $25,000.”
