Peugeot 208 engines Engine ambit for the new Peugeot 208 is confirmed
Peugeot has accepted its engine agency for the new Peugeot 208 supermini, and all the diesels will accept sub-100g/km emissions. A new 1.0-litre three butt petrol engine will aswell dip beneath the abracadabra 100g/km threshold.
Four of the 5 diesels on action will be adapted with Peugeot’s e-HDi micro amalgam Stop and Start system.
First up is the 68bhp 1.4-litre diesel, which emits 87g/km and allotment 83.1mpg ammunition abridgement with Stop and Start. It is aswell accessible after Stop and Start, with the abstracts ascent to 98g/km and 74.3mpg.

The new 208 goes on auction in the UK in June.
