Last Auto news - GQbyCitroen concept revealed Citroen team up with GQ magazine to build ‘ultimate gentleman’s car’.

The hype from Geneva may be dying down, but Citroen are keen to show they’re not finished yet. The French manufacturer has just revealed the GQbyCitroen, a concept car designed in partnership with men’s magazine, GQ.

Working closely with editor, Dylan Jones, Citroen designers were aiming to create the ‘ultimate gentleman’s drive’. The result is an aggressively designed GT that mixes bold lines with an elegant profile. A concave rear windscreen and rear-hinged suicide doors complete the dramatic look.

Inside the cabin, Citroen called upon Savile Row tailors, E. Tautz to help them design an interior that is simple, stylish and futuristic.

The GQbyCitroen is a plug-in hybrid, powered by a 1.6-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine and an electric motor. According to figures the newcomer should have a 0-60mph time of 4.5 seconds while emissions are just 80g/km of CO2. There are no plans to put the car into production.
